Integrity in the News: Integrity and plagiarism

An article here, in the TES, calling on universities and tutors to “focus less on the detection and punishment of plagiarism and more on … integrity” if they want to be effective in deterring plagiarism among students. This raises the crucial question of how to “remind [students] of the importance of honesty and integrity” when they are part of an educational system which consistently stresses the importance of grades and results.
